Electric Grills

Electric grills are very convenient and are available in many styles and sizes for all situations. Although not as popular as gas or charcoal, an electric grill can have some advantages.

As long as you have access to a power source, you are never going to run out of fuel and can have a barbeque at a moments notice whenever the fancy takes you. With charcoal and gas you need to ensure you have enough charcoal or gas in the bottle. Gas bottles need changing every so often, and can run out part way through a barbecue. With charcoal you are forever having to remember to buy more. Electric has the advantage that you never need to remember to buy more fuel, it is always there ready for use.

Electric grills do need to be given enough time to warm up, although this is usually on a few minutes, but this is nothing compared to waiting for charcoal to build enough heat to begin cooking.
